Dynamic instrumentation toolkit for lab iOS/Android processes during authorized mobile tests.

Open sourceExploitationPost-exploitationMobile

What it is

Frida attaches to an app on a jailbroken/rooted lab device to inspect runtime behavior: pinning, root detection, and crypto. It is instrumentation, not a jailbreak tool. Scripts should be read-only observers unless the RoE allows hooking a specific control.

Reach for it when

Runtime mobile work on lab devices after static review, when you need to confirm pinning, attestation, or storage behavior.

Watch-outs

Never instrument employee or customer devices. Jailbreak/root is a lab-only precondition. Do not bypass production attestation to talk to live payment networks. Scripts that dump memory may capture PANs or session tokens — keep them on the lab net.

Typical invocation

frida -U -f com.helio.mobile --no-pause -l lab/observe-pinning.js

Authorized assessments only. Stay inside the rules of engagement.
